Susan came to me like most of my patients:
1. She saw my website
2. She read my YELP! reviews
3. She received a recommendation from a trusted source, in this case her physician recommended me.
Susan was fighting breast cancer. I saw her for the first time before her lumpectomy. She was vulnerable and afraid. I have treated so many patients like Susan over the years. However, this year, through treating Susan, I learned of an amazing local resource for women with breast cancer!
The U’ilani fund is a local organization supporting women in San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Hawaii. It is named after Dr. Maria U’ilani who found that complementary medicine improved her quality of life while she was undergoing allopathic treatment for cancer.
The U’ilani fund paid for several of Susan’s treatments. Susan needed help healing from her lumpectomy and feeling whole again. In less than one business day, Susan sent in her application for funding, which included my credentials and treatment plan, and received approval! The turn around time was less than 6 hours!
I was so impressed with this organization that I decided to name it this year’s non-profit that Endless Possibilities Acupuncture supports. Every year Endless Possibilities donates to charity, and this year, we are proud to support the U’ilani Fund. We are doing this by selling hot packs and eye pillows. I make all of the hot packs and eye pillows for use in the clinic by my patients. This year I am churning our more! Buy an eye pillow and/or hot pack and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the U’ilani Fund!
I am so proud and honored to donate to this non-profit and encourage you to do the same. Please, stop by the office, cross a name off your gift list, and give to a wonderful organization whose mission is to help others!
